WATCH: Inbetweeners 2 trailer
The Inbetweeners 2 trailer has been released and it looks like the four lads are picking up right where they left off in the first film.
Will McKenzie (Simon Bird), Jay Cartwright (James Buckley), Neil Sutherland (Blake Harrison) and Simon Cooper (Joe Thomas) head to Australia for the second installment.
There are plenty of hilarious antics to look forward to in the sequel, and after spending the whole TV series and the first Inbetweeners movie pining for a girl he never had a chance of hooking up with, Simon appears to have handed himself a clingy girlfriend.
He was obsessed with Carli D’Amato in the Inbetweeners TV series but he doesn’t appear to be quite as keen with the tables turned.
While clutching hold of one of his favourite jackets, she says: “Simon, swear on your hoody you’re not going to cheat on me.”
The trailer begins with Neil receiving an email from Jay, who tells him to come and visit him in Australia because he’s on a ‘mental gap year’.
Will is seen sporting a head of much longer hair in the early stages of the trailer and is quick to accept Jay’s offer.
Jay is back to his crude best in the trailer, and makes inappropriate jokes throughout, such as why Australia is referred to as ‘Down Under’.
He manages to get Neil to do his usual chuckle with his crude antics and drives a car with the Mobile Virgin Conversion Unit emblazoned on the back.
In other hilarious scenes, Will is seen in a club squeezing in between fellow clubbers with his huge backpack on.
The Inbetweeners 2 is set to hit UK cinemas on August 6.
