Whoopi Goldberg to guest star on ABC’s 666 Park Avenue

Stage and screen favorite Whoopi Goldberg will make an appearance on ABC’s mysterious new drama 666 Park Avenue.

The Sister Act star will play a character named Maris Elder on the horror drama’s ninth episode,Entertainment Weekly reports.

Elder, a reclusive resident of The Drake, uses hypnosis to help Jane (Rachael Taylor) explore her supernatural connection to the haunted apartment building.

666 Park Avenue debuted on ABC (US) on September 30, attracting a modest 6.9 million viewers.

The series will air on ITV2 in the UK.
