WWE star Ultimate Warrior cause of death reveled
The Ultimate Warrior died from a massive heart attack, US reports claim.
According to an autopsy report, the wrestler died from cardiovascular disease.
The legendary WWE wrestler passed away in his Arizona hotel on April 8, just days after being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Ultimate Warrior, who was 54-years-old, had apparently been battling heart disease for some time, medical documents suggest.
Coronoers at the Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s office have confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that the wrestler – born James Hellwig – died from a massive heart attack.
In a statement after his death, the WWE said: “[We are] shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of the most iconic WWE Superstars ever, The Ultimate Warrior.
“We are grateful that just days ago, Warrior had the opportunity to take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame and was also able to appear at WrestleMania 30 and Monday Night Raw to address his legions of fans.
“WWE sends its sincere condolences to Warrior’s family, friends and fans.”
No further investigation is expected in relation to Hellwig’s death, which was officially listed as a “natural” death from “atherosclerotic/arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease.”
