X Factor: Chloe Jasmine and Stephanie Nala sent home

Chloe Jasmine and Stephanie Nala were eliminated from The X Factor last night.

Stephanie – who was in the bottom two last week – was immediately kicked out the competition after receiving the fewest public votes.

Chloe was joined by 8-piece boyband Stereo Kicks in a final sing-off to determine who would be sent home.

Chloe Jasmine sang a rendition of ‘Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?’, while Stereo Kicks performed ‘I’ll Stand By You’.

Judges Louis Walsh, Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Mel B then had to decide who to send home from the competition.

Remaining true to their own acts, Cheryl decided to send home Stereo Kicks, while Louis chose to eliminate Chloe.

Mel B said based on the sing-off, she had to send home Chloe.  Simon agreed and eliminated Chloe Jasmine, despite admitting he thought she had great potential as an artist.

“Don’t worry about it! Cheryl, you are absolutely wonderful, thank you for taking a chance on me,” said Chloe.
