X Factor: Kingsland Road lose out to Tamera Foster in sing off

Kingsland Road have been voted off The X Factor after ending up in the bottom two with Tamera Foster.

Tamera, who sang I Have Nothing, was saved by all of the judges except Kingsland Road’s mentor Gary Barlow.

“I have to say this, the public have got this wrong tonight, they really have,” said Gary.

Asked by host Dermot O’Leary about their experience, they said: “We loved it. Thank you Gary for everything.”

“These guys were together for two years before they joined us. They should stick with what they’re doing. They are a hit band and they will be a hit band in the future I’m certain of it,” added Gary.

He also took the opportunity to remind the public to vote based on vocal ability.

“I want to remind everyone out there that this is a singing competition. That’s all I have to say,” he told O’Leary.
