X Factor: Mel B hints at Wildcard contestants

Mel B has all but confirmed her wildcard contestant, revealing the boy she’s chosen is from her home town.

Speaking on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, Mel told Richard Arnold: “I can’t tell you who it is, but he’s from my hometown,” before bursting into laughter.

Fun time contestant Stevi Ritchie could also be making his X Factor return.

According to the Daily Star, Stevi will return to the over-25s category, after Cheryl picked him to re-join Simon’s team.

The wild cards could also see boy band Overload and singing fishmonger Lola Saunders return to the show.

Overload were reportedly spotted leaving the finalists’ house the other day with coats over their heads to disguise themselves, and rumours of Lola’s return to the show were sparked after she was ‘spotted’ in the background of a trailer for the live shows.

Meanwhile Jack Walton – who missed out on a place in the boys’ category –has been thrown in to the mix after he was seen partying with finalists Only The Young earlier this week.
