X Factor’s Jahmene Douglas announces debut album

Jahmene Douglas has announced details of his debut studio album.

The X Factor runner-up will release a cover album called Love Never Fails  on July 22 via RCA.

His X Factor mentor, Nicole Scherzinger will once again provide vocal to their cover of  The Greatest Love of All, which they sang together on last year’s live final.

“Nicole knew this would be one of my favourite songs,” said Douglas.

“And when she sang it with me on the final it was like singing with my big sister. She’s so incredibly talented. This song and Nicole ooze class.”

Douglas will release a cover version of David Guetta and Sia’s ‘Titanium’ as the lead single.

Other covers on the record include Coldplay’s ‘Fix You’, Emeli Sandé’s ‘Next To Me’ and Sarah McLachlan’s ‘Angel’.
