Zac Efron’s friends fear he has fallen off wagon
Zac Efron has reportedly fallen off the wagon, with his friends admitting their fears for the young actor.
His worried friends fear he has fallen off the wagon but Zac has no time for their sympathy or concern.
The 26-year-old actor, who got into a brawl in a sketchy part of downtown Los Angeles near Skid Row last week, is reportedly cutting contact with any pals who voice their worry about his behaviour.
According to TMZ, friends of Zac, who has been allegedly been treated for ‘cocaine addiction’ twice in the past year, are ‘too scared to broach the subject with Zac’ because they are worried he will cut them from his life.
Zac became involved in a brawl in LA’s deprived Skid Row area and admitted it’s the ‘hardest’ he’s been hit in his life.
He was struck in the face after he and his bodyguard got involved in an altercation with at least three ‘transients’ in a ‘very bad area’ of downtown Los Angeles last weekend, Police sources told TMZ.
Following the reported attack, Zac is quoted by the website as saying: “It was the hardest I’ve ever been hit in my life.”
Police were patrolling in the Harbour Freeway area when they are said to have seen Zac and a man he identified as his bodyguard involved in a fracas.
The officers broke up the fight and then questioned Zac about what was happening, but didn’t arrest anyone because they viewed the ruckus as ‘mutual combat’.
Zac reportedly told Police that he and his bodyguard were sitting in their car because they had run out of fuel, a source later told TMZ the crew were headed to a restaurant in Little Tokyo at 12.30am.
