Zayne Malik and Perry Edwards Engagement Confirmed by mother
One Direction’s Zayn Malik and Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards are engaged.
Perrie’s mum confirmed the news today after her daughter was spotted wearing a diamond ring at 1D’s This Is Us world premier last night.
The Little Mix star’s mother Deborah told Real Radio: “Yes, it’s true. They got engaged on Sunday and it’s absolutely lovely.
“It’s wonderful because Zayn is absolutely gorgeous and Perrie loves him to pieces. It’s just perfect and they get on so well together.”
She added: “It’s just fabulous.”
Edwards’s brother Jonnie also offered his congratulations to the pair on Twitter, writing: “Right, My sister and Zayn ARE Engaged! It’s true! You seen the ring on the finger and all that jazz! CONGRATS!!!”
Malik and Perrie have been dating since early 2012 following Little Mix’s win on The X Factor during the 2011 series.
